BackupPCd is a portable client for BackupPC. It is written in C and supports the following platforms:
  • Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
  • Linux
  • Mac OS X
  • QNX
BackupPCd was written to solve the problem of backing up computer systems running Microsoft Windows, but also provides many convient features on POSIX platforms as well. Under Windows, BackupPCd runs as an NT Service. Other features inclulde:
  • Automatic upgrades (over the network)
  • Incremental backups
  • Simple installation
  • Highly configurable
